Man I am soo fking frustratedā¦
whenever I hear someone say he shouldn't, you shouldn't, blaaaah!!!
Ugh.
I feel so shamed whenever I am not acting towards my child behavior around strangers and they have an opinion on my parenting or my little ones behavior!!
"He shouldn't throw sand it could get into someone's eyes!!"
"He shouldn't call your best friend aunt and uncle they are not."
Stupid little stuff like that enraged me, because... well actually because it makes me feel like I am not doing a good enough job!
Here is the thing, this deeply rooted feeling of shame came from when I was little. Wheneverbi didn't behave societally correct or the way I "should have" I was given looks of "oh man you are so embarrassing" "you stop this bs right now!" And so on. But not only then, if you know me I am a pretty loud person, have an obnoxious loud clap and a sailors laugh? (Used to be able to drink like one tooš )
So people would tell me in my job, family gatherings or just out "how to" behave. And here is whatsoever learned from that!
I and also my child can behave how we want to if it is not hurting anyone! Of it makes others uncomfortable it is not mine nor my little ones responsibility to make them feel better!
And so are you imperfectly perfect, loud, colourful and crazy Kind human being you are. When you start liking yourself better you will like your child and it's behavior too!
What is something you love about yourself?
