i’m happy I found this community and the workshop because I’m really struggling. I’m a sahm with 2 boys under 3.

Things like this happen way too often: my 13mo is ripping apart a plant, I come down to his level. Explain we dont touch the plant, he can rip something else… my older son runs by and starts ripping away at the plant and then I lose my shit :( I grabbed him really hard and told him to stop. I haaaate when I get this reactive. we make up.. but a minute later this happens over something else and it’s so hard because I can’t really talk to others about it.

i come from an abusive childhood, even adulthood. Same for my husband. We are on our own dealing with all our own feelings and trying to nog traumatize our little ones. almost no support or breaks.. I really want to break this cycle and hope I can share with you and find some support here 🥰
